It'd be too much to ask for these things to stick to my actual patients? It isn't like progress is being made, either way.

Some people call this thing sentient. Is it trying to make the point that I'm an incompetent quack?

Maybe you can't help them, but people from here can. Let them be called the lunatics--they're not from your world anyways, so it wouldn't matter.

Take care of those vampires for you! No one else will know that you called 'em in.

The other option would be to ask for volunteers from here to stay in your clinic. There's some strong people here who probably wouldn't die from being bit by a vampire, and you can get more information!

That would require finding or at least seeing them. All I have now is the fact that it's the only answer that fits the data. I can't watch over every house in the village... the fact that they're in hiding probably means that they can be taken on by a regular human or humans...

A process? The first step is acknowledging you need it. If you don't, I'll tell you that you do.

The second step is asking for it. If you don't, then people will try to help you anyways. No offense, but it you got someone to help you out right away, you probably could have avoided Kefka helping you.

He's more competent than me, to this point. All I can do is allow it.

I can't pretend that I'm trying to save lives if I forbid him from doing anything... if I really had that power in the first place.

I can't be satisfied with a miracle, but this isn't about my satisfaction or even my duty. Standing in his way is as good as killing them myself.
